Westlake Village has one of the highest concentrations of corporate offices in Ventura County, and most of my clients here are trying to fit training into a lunch break, before a 7 a.m. meeting, or after a day of back-to-back calls. This is also where I personally train out of — I rent time at a private training facility here in Westlake Village, so it's my most consistent home base, in addition to sessions at your home or, in some cases, your building's gym.
Training around a corporate schedule
A lot of Westlake Village clients work in the business park along Agoura Rd or Lindero Canyon, and the biggest obstacle isn't motivation — it's finding a consistent window. We build the schedule first, then the program fits inside it. Because the facility I train out of is right here in town, it's usually the easiest option for a lunch-hour or early-morning session without a long drive either way.
Where sessions happen
Most Westlake Village clients train at the private facility I use here in town — it's set up and ready, so there's no equipment guesswork. For home sessions, I bring bands and adjustable dumbbells to fill in whatever you don't already have. If your office building has its own fitness room, mention it and I'll let you know if that's an option.
Who this is for
Professionals who sit most of the day and need strength work that counters that, people training around a golf schedule in North Ranch, and retirees who want supervised strength training without navigating a crowded gym floor. Some clients also use the walking path around Westlake Lake or the Triunfo Canyon trails as a low-impact addition on non-lifting days.
What a program looks like
Same foundation for everyone: an initial call to map out your schedule and goals, a program built on progressive overload with real periodization (the plan evolves over weeks, not the same three exercises on repeat), and nutrition coaching layered in, since that's usually the missing piece for people who train consistently but don't see the scale or the mirror move. Most Westlake Village clients train 2–3x per week given typical work schedules.
